Saginaw Transit Authority Regional Services (STARS) offers convenient, affordable transportation options designed to support commuters, students, and employees traveling to major education and employment destinations throughout the region. Whether you’re heading to class, work, or a training site, our specialized routes make getting there easier.

Our commuter services include the Pigeon Express, Silicon Express, and Corning route, providing reliable connections to key employment centers.

Students and staff at Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU)  can ride free with a valid SVSU ID, including service via Route 9, making campus access simple and cost-free.

In addition, Delta Direct offers direct service to Delta College, with free rides available for students and staff with a valid Delta ID. These services are designed to reduce transportation barriers while supporting education, workforce access, and regional mobility.

  • Silicon Express – Reliable, affordable transportation for regional workers

  • Corning Shuttle – Direct access to Corning employment facilities

  • SVSU Free Ride Program – In addition to service to campus on Route 9, students and staff ride all STARS routes fare free with with valid SVSU ID

  • Delta Direct – Four round trips a day M-TH for Fall and Winter semesters plus free rides for Delta College students and staff with valid ID
