ELECTION DAY MEANS FREE RIDE DAY AT STARS
On March 10th, Primary Election Day, Saginaw Transit Authority Regional Services (STARS) will provide free rides on fixed routes for all riders. ADA rides will be free for all Gold Card holders as well. “All Rides are free, whether it’s to the polls, work, or the store. But I hope you vote!” says Glenn Steffens, Executive Director of STARS.
It is a STARS tradition to offer free rides on election day, so August 4th and November 3rd, 2020 will also be free ride days.
STARS reminds voters that a STARS millage is on the ballot which supports STARS services.
Polls are open from 7AM-8PM. STARS will coordinate efforts with the City Clerk’s office to ensure service for all voters. Riders can call (989)907-4000 for more information about how to get to their polling location.
