Kildee to Unveil New STARS Buses at Ribbon Cutting Thursday in Saginaw
FLINT—Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-08) will host a press conference tomorrow, Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. ET to highlight new federal funding for Saginaw Transit Authority Regional Services (STARS).
Congressman Kildee recently secured $4 million to help STARS purchase nine new transit buses, each equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including high-definition security monitoring, air filtration systems, automatic wheelchair restraints and more. The Kildee-secured funding is helping STARS progress toward its goal of modernizing its fleet by 2026.
