STARS DIAL-A-RIDE OPENING WEEKENDS FOR NONESSENTIAL TRIPS
Effective Saturday, January 9, STARS will open LIFT & EXPRESS Dial-a-Ride services on Weekends for all trips, including nonessential trips.
Schedule your weekend trips by calling anytime Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm. Call STARS LIFT today at 989-753-9526. Trips are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
STARS continues to service only essential LIFT trips Mondays through Fridays and is making no changes since those services are booked at capacity.
STARS Mainline Bus Routes are still suspended until further notice.
What is an Essential Trip?
- Trips for Groceries (One Trip per Week per Household)
- Trips for Physical and Mental Health Needs (Appointments, Prescriptions)
- Trips for Essential Jobs
- Essential Jobs Include: Hospital/Medical, Grocery/Food (take-out), Essential Production, School, and Childcare
Due to the Pandemic, all riders 3 years and older must wear a mask at all times and use provided hand sanitizer upon entry – no exceptions.
