Due to requests from Saginaw City residents, STARS is pleased to announce that STARS dial-a-ride now covers pickups and drop-offs on Washington Ave. East of I-75 to Towerline Road.

“We had riders calling and asking for service to employers on Washington Avenue in Buena Vista Township. We needed to connect people to jobs,” says STARS Executive Director Glenn Steffens.

STARS EXPRESS is a public service that can be used for rides to work, groceries, medical appointments and community events and services. STARS EXPRESS operates from Monday 4AM to Sunday 3AM and costs only $5.25 each way.

Saginaw workers will now be able to travel to the many more employers in that area including Fed Ex, Means, Michigan CAT, McDonalds, Kenworth, Wendy’s, Meekhof Tire, Wieland Sales Inc., Midway Signs, Nexteer Prototype Center, InCal Technologies and Airway Oxygen.
