Saginaw Transit Authority Regional Services (STARS) is pleased to announce the return of the Frankenmuth Express, beginning Friday, July 31.

Operating every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through December 27, the seasonal service provides free transportation between the STARS Plaza in Downtown Saginaw and Frankenmuth.

The Frankenmuth Express features four daily departures from Downtown Saginaw at 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. Return trips depart Uptown North in Frankenmuth at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 5:20 p.m., and 8:00 p.m.

In addition to the express service, riders can take advantage of the FREE Frankenmuth Shuttle, which circulates approximately every 20 minutes throughout the city, providing convenient access to shopping, restaurants, attractions, and hotels.

The seasonal service is ideal for visitors planning shopping trips, family outings, dining experiences, and holiday events throughout the fall.

The Frankenmuth Express operates Friday through Sunday from July 31 through December 27, with no service September 11–13 or December 25.

Riders are encouraged to review the complete schedule before traveling and arrive at the STARS Plaza a few minutes before their scheduled departure.
